About: This webinar will highlight how the Baby-Friendly Initiative (BFI) has encouraged facilities providing maternity and newborn services to better support breastfeeding and provide evidence-based care to all mothers and infants regardless of their infant-feeding decision. BFI continues to support continuous quality-improvement strategies and motivate facilities. In this webinar, Kathy O’Grady Venter, will highlight evidence why BFI designation and re-designation is important to all families, society and individual health care settings. National and provincial strategies and investments that support organizations will be reviewed.
